Procreation/Postcreation is about collecting/archiving/documenting personal stories, old and new beliefs and tales, medical facts, sayings, advice, taboos, recipes, lullabies, poems and more - before some of this knowledge gets forgotten and lost in time. It is also about exploring old and new myths surrounding both pro and post creation and how these myths have influenced our thinking in the past and, continue to do so today and into the future.
Presenting thoughts, ideas and data from individuals and groups from across the Globe, this project takes the form of a publication and invites people to consider different points of views about issues that effect us all globally.
88 artists and non-artists, male and female, have contributed texts, performances and/or images for procreation/postcreation.

“การให้กำเนิด/หลังให้กำเนิด” เป็นการจัดเก็บ รวบรวม และบันทึกเรื่องราวส่วนตัว เรื่องเล่า ภูมิปัญญาท้องถิ่น ตำนานพื้นบ้าน ความเชื่อ ทั้งเก่า และใหม่ คำสอน ข้อห้าม ตำรับอาหาร เพลงกล่อมเด็ก นิทาน กวี ข้อมูลทางการแพทย์ ฯลฯ เป็นการรวบรวมภูมิปัญญา องค์ความรู้ทั้งในอดีตและปัจจุบัน ก่อนที่จะถูกลืม และหายไปตามกาลเวลา และจากการเสาะแสวงหาเรื่องราวความเชื่อทั้งเก่าใหม่ที่อยู่รอบๆ การก่อกำเนิดเอง เราสามารถเรียนรู้ว่าสิ่งเหล่านี้ได้มีอิทธิพล ส่งผลต่อระบบความเชื่อในสังคมตั้งแต่อดีต ปัจจุบัน และอาจกระทบถึงอนาคตได้อย่างไร
โครงการในครั้งนี้ทำขึ้นในรูปแบบของสิ่งพิมพ์ เสนอข้อคิดและข้อมูล ของผู้คนในสาขาต่างๆ จากทั่วโลก ผู้ที่เป็นและมิได้เป็นศิลปินทั้งหญิงและชายจำนวน 88 คน ได้รับการเชื้อเชิญให้มองถึงประเด็นที่หลากหลาย และเสนอมุมมองที่ขยายกว้างออกไปเกี่ยวกับเรื่องการให้กำเนิด/หลังให้กำเนิด เรื่องที่ส่งผลกระทบต่อเราทุกคนในระดับสากล ผ่านผลงานกลุ่มและเดี่ยว ในรูปแบบของบทความ การแสดง และ/หรือรูปภาพ มาร่วมโครงการ Womanifesto 2003 : “การให้กำเนิด/หลังให้กำเนิด” ในครั้งนี้

เปิดตัวโครงการในวันอังคารที่ 11 พฤศจิกายน 2546
Womanifesto เป็นโครงการที่จัดขึ้นทุกๆ 2 ปี ที่ประเทศไทย ตั้งแต่ปี พ.ศ. 2538
